PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Playful Learning Landscapes organization named Philadelphia the first playful learning city in the world.
Mayor Cherelle Parker was on hand at Sister Cities Park on Thursday morning to accept the award on behalf of the city.
After the award presentation, the community came together to celebrate the opening of the Play Place, an interactive installation celebrating innovation.
